Ziyad Elmansouri is born 1998 in Taza (Morocco). He studied Visual Arts at the Institute National Des Beaux Arts in Tétouan, where he lives now.

Influenced from Existentialism, Expressionism and Surrealism Elmansouri transfairs the main questions of human being to the modern Moroccain life. His paintings are asking about the place of humans and especially of North African people in a world of violence, unjustice and racism. He shows individuals in a life with stress and pressure, in a fight of surviving and often at the inevitable transformation to death.
